Professor Geeta Nargund

Professor Nargund is the founder of Create Health Foundation. She is the medical director of CREATE Fertility and abc IVF and an Honorary Professor of Women's Health at the University of Bolton, UK and Guest professor at Hasselt University Medical Faculty, Belgium. She has served the NHS for more than three decades and has been a senior consultant gynaecologist and lead consultant for reproductive medicine services at St George's Hospital NHS Trust for more than 25 years. 

She has published extensively in peer-reviewed scientific journals on the role of advanced ultrasound technology in reproductive medicine and Natural and Mild IVF. She is a pioneer in the field of mild approaches in IVF aimed at making IVF safer, affordable, woman-friendly and accessible globally. She cares deeply about improving access and outcomes in healthcare.

She is the co-founder of the Ginsburg Women’s Health board, Co-founder and President of ISMAAR (International Society for Mild Approaches in Assisted Reproduction). Geeta has campaigned tirelessly for women’s health rights in pursuit of closing the gender health gap.

Geeta is extensively involved in charity work, serving as the Vice Chair of the British Red Cross , medical advisor to CHANA, a Jewish charity and also as a director of the Walking Egg Foundation, Belgium.

She has served on several expert advisory committees including the WHO, NHS England and national and international scientific Boards.

Geeta was the first to launch fertility education initiative in London secondary school in 2016 after lobbying the Department of Education and consultation with headteachers and  local governments and the department of education.
